My base hourly rate is £20 per hour. 


Copywriting is my specialism, website copywriting particularly. However, I have worked on all kinds of writing assignments and am always happy to be commissioned on any kind of writing work. I have experience in:

I can work to many different levels of budget, and I am passionate about offering accessible writing services to solo traders and small local businesses. This can look like a streamlined copywriting service, proofreading or copyediting content that you have written, or having some workshop sessions on how to write most effectively for the different mediums you use for your business. 


While I am not a trained graphic designer, I did learn many things from working in a design agency (particularly when I had to write articles for our design blog). Over the years I have used Wix and WordPress to create many low-budget, high value websites with a simple but effective design. I will work with you to create an effective design using custom written content that streamlines your message, and photos and images that you provide.


For projects with a larger budget I do recommend working with a graphic designer, and possibly a developer too depending on the needs of the website. This gives you the most effective design and the most seamless user experience that takes any custom needs or features into account. I can help you find the right team members for your website, and handle the managing of the project by giving feedback on the design, populating a Content Management System, carrying out testing to ensure the website works properly and is effective in its aim, and conducting back-end training/workshops for your team and producing user-guides that helps your team stick to brand goals. I am also experienced at putting together website architecture for large websites in a way that makes sense and is helpful to the end user, and am a practised guard at making sure that designs are accessible and effective as well as beautiful.


As an artist and activist I have a deep interest in helping out community charities and my fellow artists and arts organisations. If the cause requires it, and I have the time, I'll happily work out a discount or volunteer what time I can offer.
